Quorum is a home for independent investigative journalism. It is journalism funded by donors, by small businesses and by regular people who care to see the business of watchdog, public-service journalism performed in the Midlands of South Carolina and beyond.
As the work of journalism never stops needing to be done, as the public never stops needing to be informed and as public officials and agencies engaging in fraud, waste, abuse and corruption never stop needing to be exposed, Quorum was launched on July 12, 2016, to fill that ever-widening gap.
If you believe this a worthy cause, please give, read, and sign up for our mailing list — doing so gives Quorum a story to tell advertisers to keep the enterprise going into the future. Until then, I thank you for making it this far in Quorum’s journey, and cannot wait to watch it unfold together. If you have tips, please send them directly to me at email@example.com or mail them to Quorum, Attn: Ron Aiken, P.O. Box 549, Blythewood, SC 29016.
